Tusk Ambassador

Powell was appointed an Ambassador for Tusk in 2022 and will be running the Tusk Half Marathon in Kenya in June this year along with her husband, the singer songwriter Jack Savoretti, to raise awareness and funds for the charity’s vital conservation work.

Along the way, Jemma will also be working on a series of site-specific works for her forthcoming show The Golden Thread which aims to shine a light on the important conservation work taking place as seen through the lens of an artist. The Golden Thread will showcase Powell’s skills as a colourist and feature vast landscapes, endangered wildlife and the people that live and dwell within these communities.
