A Space Between
Jemma and husband Jack Savoretti contributed a unique colouring-in design drew together for wonderful non-profit organisation 'A Space Between'.A Space Between (ASB) was co-founded by three women through their battles with mental illness, chronic disease and stage 4 metastatic cancer. They work with Hospitals and Community Centres to support patients and healthcare workers through non-prescriptive, free, therapeutic art programmes.
ASB resources are entirely crowd-sourced, with artworks donated by people of all ages and abilities, across the world, as well as ongoing contributions from established/emerging artists and notable creatives of all backgrounds to turn into therapeutic material for their programmes.
Jemma and Jack’s colouring-in sketch has travelled through ASB's Care Boxes to the Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital, the St Pancras Neuro Rehabilitation Unit, and to 300 further patients across 6 Hospital Oncology Wards. And this is only the start of its healing journey.
